Those who have a summer cottage plot thought about how to build a brazier with their own hands, because such a design takes at all a lot of space, pleases its appearance and functionality.
Today we will tell about how to make a brazier on their own, applying a minimum of ammunition and spending a little time.
Types of Mangalov
There are several types of such products:
- mobile brand created from metal;
- stationary brand, posted from brick.
In addition, each of them has certain disadvantages and advantages. For example, a brick brazier has a more aesthetic appearance and full-fledged equipment. Such a mangal can be used as a barbecue, smokehouse, skewers and grill. The brazier made of metal is inclined to rust and heat themselves, but it is convenient to use it if the city is coming.
Gardening mangals need to be placed not at the end of the site, but on a special place for a picnic place. For example, it is possible to arrange a landline view in a summer gazebo. At the same time, it is very convenient if there will be a hurry, drinking water, bench and a table.
Construction of mangala
Brick brand with his own hands
The design of the mangala, which we will look, is pretty simple. His furnace will be similar to the firebox, which is located above the ground and has a very high chimney. Its lower part will be equipped with two grate with grates, through which the ash will be held in the ash spots and subsequently removed through the holes. Niche, located under the ash spots, will be used to lay wood or coal.
Preparatory work:
1. Initially, the manga drawing should be made, decide on its location and prepare the foundation. If it is in the open air, the brickwork is carried out on the heat-resistant cement solution, if in the gazebo, then on the clay composition.
2. Then you need to purchase a red chimney brick.
3. For the construction of the manga you will need:
- 2 valves (20x30 cm);
- cap exhaust from sheet copper (52x52 cm);
- 2 grilles grate (20x30 cm);
- 400 pcs. red chimney bricks;
- 50 kg of cement;
- 4 things. equal steel corner (with a shelf 4x4 cm) 90 cm;
- 70 sand buckets and 22 clay buckets;
- 2 pcs. A corner of the inequalization (shelf 3x4 cm).
Production process:
- We start working with the layout of the niche for firewood 50x75x50 cm (height, width, depth).
- Then we make 2 ridiculous-ashbers, which are separated between themselves and separate the brick from the woodwood.
- When laying a brick, which will be shared and the woodwood will be separated, in the 8th row we set the equalized corner of the back (4x4) and in front (3x4).
- On the 9th row, in the face bricks, drink a gutter of 3 cm, retreating from the edge of 6 cm. With this, the bricks will be put on the edge of the corner.
- On the 10th and 11th rows, we made some kind of ashnikov (12x25 cm). If you wish, you can mount the valves that will manage the boost.
- On the 11th row, where trembles will be installed, it is necessary to cut into a quarter bricks.
- On the 12th row, in the furnace, we create a protrusion for further support of the skewers.
- On the 21st row, we install the corner and complete the construction of the furnace.
- On the 24th row proceed to the creation of a smoke collector. Each subsequent row is placed on a special technology with coating ledges (from the front side by 1.7 cm, on the sides of 3.5 cm).
- The rear wall of the smoke collector is built vertically.
- On the 33rd row end the masonry and mounted the hood cap. His frame will consist of a galvanized profile. They fix copper sheets on rivets.
Recommendations:
- if you equip a 45x45 cm rigid grille with a rigid grill, it can be used as a barbecue;
- the height of the hood usually depends on the height of the roof of the arbor.
MANGAL DIY Metal
Material that will need:
- bulgarian and metal discs;
- drill;
- roulette;
- welding machine;
- bolts;
- head of iron.
1. Initially, decide on the size of the structure. To do this, you need to calculate the number of skewers that you will use, and clarify the trunk parameters in the car. The gap between the skewers must be up to 10 cm.
2. Then proceed to the selection of building materials. It is best to take advantage of sheets that have more than 1 cm thick, as it will increase the life of the manga. The legs can be built from the same sheets, bent them at an angle.
3. Next, we make markup on the metal and cut up too much. By it, bend the leaf at an angle of 90 °.
We produce welding along the entire length of extreme surfaces and weld the bottom. The legs are fixed on the bolts.
4. In the absence of a welding machine, the montage of the frame will take a little longer:
- from the joints, when the side surface is marked, it will be necessary to add 20-30 mm;
- then bend the sheet along it, but to connect over with another edge;
- drills 3 holes and secure bolts of the joint;
- from the bottom side, along the ribs, we create a cut of 20-30 mm and bend the sheet in the angle at an angle of 90 °;
- put on top of the bottom.
5. Upon completion of the work, in the side long walls, we create a hole 20-30 mm in diameter in a pitch of 4-5 cm and at an altitude of 30 mm from the bottom - it will provide a thrust for burning and inflating coal.
