Pendulum doors are one of the species of swinging. The only difference between them is that the pendulum opens in both directions at the expense of special fittings.

If ordinary swing doors are attached to the side stand of the door frame with a loop, then the pendulum models are fixed to the threshold and crossbar. A special spring-axial mechanism is applied to the door suspension. It allows it to open in any direction, and due to the efforts of the spring to return to its original position. Springs or closers are installed one at the top and bottom of the door. They work alternately in each direction. The top works when opening the door to the left, and the lower - right, or vice versa. Installation of pendulum door on special loops

Thanks to a special pendulum loop, you can get any door to open in two directions. With its appearance, the loop data does not differ from ordinary.

Unlike the installation of the canvas on the axial mechanism, this work requires the presence of a door frame. Naturally, the glass frameless door cannot be installed in this way.

The order of installation doors is as follows:

1. At the end of the door canvase, the places of fastening of the loops are scheduled. Usually they are installed at a distance of 20 cm from the top and bottom ends of the door. It is enough just to attach a loop to the end and put the pencil. The same procedure is repeated on the box.
2. Next, a stopper is extracted from each card. It is necessary in order to break the spring. This is done as follows. A special pin is inserted into the hole on the sleeve and turns clockwise.
3. After that, the plates of the loop for pendulum doors are applied to the feet and fasten with self-drawers.
4. Next, the loops plates are screwed to the door frame. To do this, you may need to help another person.
