Balaasins are supported for the railings and are accurate wooden elements. Upper and lower manufactured by durable and massive, and all other (called intermediate) are thinner and lighter. Their independent installation requires preliminary training. About how to install balusters and railing itself, will go further.

Balacine and Rail Installation Technology
It will be possible to start work after the hand will be everything you need. Next:
- railing of the desired length;
- balaasins (by the number of steps), including the upper and lower;
- electrode with drills;
- screwdriver;
- glue joiner;
- saw;
- sucks;
- construction level;
- electrolake;
- pencil joiner;
- hammer;
- corolnic;
- grinding machine with emery paper medium and fine degree of abrasive grain;
- selfless.
How to choose wood for balasine and railing
For a design consisting of a balasine and handrails, it is recommended to use solid rock wood.
- Oak: The material is characterized by hardness, strength and durability. Oak balasins are withstanding significant loads, and the railing will not be emitted during operation. Oaks will not damage insects.
- Beech: Its strength characteristics are as high, but also the beek is characterized by flexibility, which can be used to make elements of complex shape. So that the design of the beech served longer, wood should be treated with an antiseptic.
- Ash: Structure of wood fibers outwardly similar to oak, but the strength of the ash is somewhat lower. The advantage of the material is its resistance to rotting and duration of service life.
- Pine: Wood is easily processed, resistant to rotting (thanks to resins), not deformed in the event of temperature drops, sufficiently durable and is distinguished by a relatively low cost.
- Larch: Durable and wear-resistant material. It is characterized in that it gains strength in the process of operation, due to the characteristics of the structure of wood and composition.
- Birch: due to low strength and inclination to rotting for the manufacture of wooden structures is not recommended. But there may be exceptions: birch is very easily processed and features aesthetic attractiveness.
Important: When choosing raw materials for balasine and railings or finished products, it should be examined by wood. The presence of transverse cracks, longitudinal cracks of a depth of more than 5 mm, bitch, signs of insect damage and rotting are not allowed.
How to connect bales with railings
The correct installation of the balaasine and the railings involves the following sequence of actions. We start with Balyasin.
- Places of installation of Balyasin are placed. Appropriate marks on steps or governments, which are projected to the lower side of the railil. To do this, after preparing holes for the top and bottom balaasine, a cord is stretched connecting their centers. The latter is made on the cord.
- The pen with a diameter of 12 mm with a diameter of 12 mm is drilled in a balaxyine with a diameter of 80 mm, a drill with a diameter of 14 mm - in the tutor (the same depth). So that the holes are drilled vertically, you need to use the coal.
- The base of the balasine on the installation side of the rail is dumped at an angle corresponding to the angle of inclination of the staircase. To avoid the formation of chips, the edges of the baluster at the point of treatment of the saw are widespread by a wide scotch.
- Pre-prepared accurate studs are attached to the holes with a joinery glue. The top edge of the studs should look at a minimum of 60 mm.
- Balaasins are installed on studs.
Tip: Before gluing all the details of the staircase, you should attach racks to the subheadings. In this way, you can hide wood defects in fastening places. If you need to install a balasine on the floor, the studs (ducts) can be replaced with an anchor bolt.
Features of the fastening of balasine for screw stairs
Consign the balusters with their own hands on the screw staircase directly to the steps. The reference rack (first) is installed in the through hole drilled in the bottom sticky. The next baluster should be restarted in the first coming, passing through the second step. Next, the installation of the BALASIN is performed similarly.
Installation of railings and balasine with their own hands is carried out using bolts for which the holes in a diameter of 10 mm are pre-done. Defects formed as a result of wood processing are closed with decorative consoles.
Additional recommendations for the installation of balaasine and rail
Fastening the Balyasin and handrails with their own hands will be reliable if you use the following recommendations while working.
- Balasins are installed on the level after the handrails are attached to them.
- If screws are used for mounting the handrail and balassine, it is necessary to prepare holes using a thinner drill. The depth of the opening should be a quarter of a smaller self-press length. The place for the cap is drilled by the drill of the corresponding diameter.
- Installation of marble balasine and pail with your own hands, as well as the assembly of concrete, metal and glass structures is performed under the general rule: the distance between the elements should not exceed 150 mm. This is important for the safety of young children.
- The height of the railing is selected in the range of 0.8 - 1.0 m. The balasine configuration depends on the overall concept of the design of the room, but the diameter should not be less than 30 mm.
- The railing is set not only along the staircase, but also along the edge of the top tier site, if necessary for safety.
- Intermediate bales are mounted at all steps, except the top and bottom.
- The upper part of the intermediate balasine is trimmed at the angle of inclination of the railings and corresponds to the slope of the staircase march.
- For the installation of BALASIN, the sewage is used - wooden cylindrical spikes included in the deaf holes, in advance drilled by a featured drill in railings, steps and balusters themselves. Furniture glue is used to strengthen the compound.
IMPORTANT: BALASINS must be made of one rock wood and quality to eliminate the deformation of the design due to different temperature expansion.
It should be borne in mind that the assembly of the Balyasin and the railings cannot be performed using nails: this method is not reliable and subsequently the design will creak.
On the features of balaasine made of concrete and glass
Concrete structures have the following advantages:
- aesthetic appeal;
- mechanical strength;
- moisture resistance;
- hold the temperature differences.
Such characteristics are important for designs operated in the open air. Concrete railings with balusters are designing garden gazebos and the front entrances of cottages. They are appropriate in the interiors of a classic style.
The manufacture of concrete bassine is produced in several stages.
- In special plaster forms, in the form of two halves, fit fittings and fastening elements are poured concrete.
- Combine two forms and tightly connect them.
- Forms shake and periodically turn over so that concrete is evenly distributed and no emptiness formed.
- After pouring the concrete, the balaasine is removed from the form.
- Fasten a balaasine with a mortgage reinforcement.
Glass bassins allow you to create an original interior. Install them using anchor bolts inserted into the glass. At the same time, it is important not to make excessive efforts to avoid destruction.
